Can anybody post a photo or two of the correct 2 speed crank arm for a 68-70 B-Body? I bought a nice 2 speed wiper motor for my coronet but there is no arm on the back. I found an old crank arm lying around in my tool box but I have no real comparison to see if it's correct.
Thanks

This crank arm you found in your toolbox, does it have a part number on it? Should be one scribed into the metal.

I'll see what the number is when I get home today from the office.

Looking at my crank arm there is no part number stamped anywhere on it. It has a spacing of approx. 1 7/8" from the center of the pin to the center of the slot. It has an overall length of approx. 3"
Someone along the way has welded on it and hit it with a grinder. Why I can't imagine???
this is why I was hoping someone could post a picture of an unmolested 2 speed arm so I can take a look at one.

Sorry but I don't have a photo of one. Maybe someone else can post one. Like mopars4ever said, the correct part number for your 2 speed wiper motor's arm is #2631794 and should be stamped into the arm. There are at least 2 for sale on E-bay auctions right now if you need a correct one.

The 68 is different from the 69-70 wiper crank arm

2587692 is the 67-68 b-body and the 2631794 is for 69-70 b-body the 2 are not interchangeable unless you swap motors

I'm glad I saw this new info. I was going to buy the '68 2-speed crank-arm that's on e-bay. I'll be on the look-out for a 2631794 arm.
My question though; what the heck is the difference between a 66-68 arm and a 69-70 arm? The motors are the same or are they different? The cowls that they fit into are the same??

The motors are different. The shaft on the 68 and earlier motors is centered in the motor and rotates on the axis also a different size. The 69 and up motors rotate on a oval axis. The do interchange as long as you use the correct crank arm for the motor you have. The crank arm on Ebay is the correct one.
