Going to check a local rotter soon, a pal needs the weather stripping but no one makes new rear quarter glass or weather stripping for these. 1970 B-body station wagon.

So, any tips on getting the weatherstrips & glass out in one piece?

Does it have a locking strip like a truck front window?

I believe the later wagon locking tab is on the inside of the car. FSM will tell for sure.

Barry - the reason I asked is that I am in a similar boat. My neighbor shattered my quarter window in my 75 Trailduster and after 6 months of searching I found a replacement window.

Problem is that there is no locking strip so I cannot figure out how to get the window in.

I just found my '70 FSM, it is a locking tab, hinged along one side.

So it does not just pull out like some do.

We got them out. It would be very difficult with one person to get the glass & weatherstripping out intact.

We learned on the first one, about an hour. 15-20 minutes on the second one.

Locking tab is outside for the front & top, inside for the bottoms.
