Members, I need to have my 4 switch and three single switches re-chromed. Just got my first quote:
4 control switch: $200
3 single switches: $375
7 inner levers: $175
Total: $750
Well after the rescue squad came and resuscitate me smile I need to know if this is high -low or in line with re-chroming. I had my front and rear bumper done for $700. If this is high, who would you recommend I send the parts to. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Scott

It's all potmetal, so the cost is always high, esp if there's pitting, plus the small size, nooks/crannies means a lot of hand work to polish out... 68 PW switches are a 1 yr deal, so it's tough to find good used or NOS set/pieces...chrome isn't cheap

Shop around.

Try Ogden chrome in Ogden UT.

The inner lever are sheet metal covers clipped over plastic that is chrome. Did you show them the covers removed. I'd think that would be tough to chrome.

How pitted are these pieces?

I thought 67 pw switches were same? And 66 too?
