Hello Guys,

Me and my great Friend decided make an update in our traction system and We thought: Why not make our version of Assassin Traction Bars?

So I'm posting some pictures of the first that we made. ASAP I should post more picture of these bars installed in my car.

This is the first step to improve my 60ft. I hope that works good!

Looks good to me. I like your shop, a man with the right tools and the knowledge to use them can make anything. up

Thanks Sir! I've same opinion about tools and knowledge.

The biggest problems for guys like me that live in Brazil is the cost to buy parts abroad... ie: Cost of original Assassin is $390.00, but we have shipping costs, around $150.00 + federal taxes that is Part Cost + Shipping X 2... So, total cost grow up to $1080.00...

Can you believe that?

So everything that I can build, I will build myself. smile

I think copying a design for personal use, and mass producing off shore to make a profit are much different.

To the OP, nice work, gotta be hard being a hot rodder in Brazil.

Looks awesome. I think you could make a market down there in South America. Offer something to the local racers so they can afford to upgrade their cars.

Thanks Dustin, You are right. Build a Muscle Car in Brazil is a hard work, specially for Mopar Guys.

Thanks Man!!! Next step is build leaf spring sliders. But don't like change two things at the same time. So I want to test Assassin at the Track and after install sliders to have a comparisson.

I see you drilling the front of spring, is this how the front segment is attached? Any pics once that part is installed?
Like a time warp back to the 50s-60s when you had to make parts for the car.

Yes, I drilled a 5/16 hole in the front of spring and this hole is to prevent that front of assassin "walk" back and forward in the spring. Front of assassin is attached by two 5/16 clamps like you can see in the pictures below.

Last saturday I ran 200mi with my car and the bars are sweet to run on the street. Unfortunately I forget to get pictures of the Traction Bars installed but next weekend I will take some pictures of the bars installed in my car and will post.
