Working on a 727. Aluminum A&A drum so I used stainless stator rings and Teflon input rings. Have never air checked clutches before. But I thought I would this time. You can clearly hear high clutches apply but not the forward... Could it be because of the teflon input rings? Secondly, I had problems with the rear band. Adjusted to 72 inch pounds off 2 turns as usual but can't get any movement on the band. Linkage in correctly and tore it apart and put together again and readjusted but same thing. I have built them before but never had this problem. I am stumped. Any ideas?
