I used the rubber floor mats that Legendary sells. I have a 68 super bee and I really like them. You can get different colors. Here is a link to some just as a sample: http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/10...RED/detail.html

Are these reproductions of the original rubber mats that came from the factory?

No, I don't think so.
Legendary used to offer a product like that, not sure if they still do.
It was a big one piece rubber mat (different colors available) that covered the floor for both front seats.
It had lines on it so that you could cut on the lines for different car models.
For example, console cars cut the middle section out which made it into two mats, etc.

Thank you for the response. I remember my grandfather's car 69 bench seat, 69 Road Runner had them in front and back. The front one went all the way across the trans tunnel and connected to the other side. I'd love to find a repro version of these. Originals are out of the question I'm sure.

Goodmark made the reproduction mats that everyone was selling approximately 10 years ago and they were copies of the style which were sold over the parts counter back in the day. They were still a nice touch for the people who do drive their cars and want to keep the carpet clean and retain the factory look. You will occasionally see them out at swap meets, and I wish that they would make another run of them. As for as factory installed mats, [censored] luck as they are almost impossible to locate in a decent condition.
