several months ago I posted this https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbt...tml#Post2055510

and wanted to say the cat finally plugged up such that I couldn't get above 45 MPH. I am at a point with this truck, very high miles 290,000, my son bashing the front end in, and rust popping up all over, that I just didn't want to spend the coin on a 3rd cat set up, so I cut the out pipe right where it was welded for the aftermarket exhaust and "rodded it" out and welded it back up, put the 02 sensor back in and it runs great, better than it has in a VERY long time with no codes so far. Its does smell way rich, but its also WAY over due for plugs and wires, so we will see. Thanks again for the input. thumbs

Did you use a mini cat? Or just nothing at all?

I just hollowed out the existing cat and welded it back up.
