I need to replace the headlights on the 97 Ram.
I do not intend on going to Mopar for these because of the price.

I looked at E. Bay and find sets for about $ 130.00
I found someone selling some Euro Style headlights for the Ram. Seems to have a lot of reflector type backing that may help put out more light.
I am not sure if I want to go with those or not.
Has anyone here actually used the euro headlights, or know anything about them?
Any " best " source to find the standard headlights at a fair price?
Thanks in advance.
Alan

Not sure about the "euro" stuff on ebay but some of those kits have really bad beam patterns and reflector designs. One thing that really improves the crappy lighting on these rams is the late model clear lens "sport" headlights. I have had both and the difference is like (excuse the pun) night and day. Someone out there makes a wiring kit for the conversion.

Why not use a lens polishing kit to clean the ones you have?

I haven't used these personally, but I find most products in the Geno's garage catalog have been used and approved by CTD owners. You'll also see listings for the "bright box" which will allow you to use the low and high beams at the same time.
