Well I contacted Chicago Carb (THANKS SlickRS23) and got what I needed and figured I'd share the info.
The linkage assembly kit is part# B3737 which includes the bolt, nyloc nut, and 3 nylon washer's (2 one size, and a smaller one) at a cost of $10.95 for the kit.
If you want just the bolt it's part# K3301 at a cost of $9.95 and the nyloc nut is part# B4017 at a cost of $1.45. I did not get down to the detail level for the part numbers and cost associated to the 2 styles of nylon washers.
So with the parts in does anyone have a pointer to an a assembly drawing or know the order of how the 2 styles of washer's are mounted?
Thanks,
Guy

Thanks, I saw the same pic.
The two visible washers are the pair that come in the kit but there is a 3rd washer smaller that looks like a spacer and that one I haven't seen in any pic's.

Here is a pic of my NOS center carb; Me thinks that is a repalcement set or modified by someone who had those parts, nice job though all the original OEM six paks I've had, 1970/1971 both 340 ad 440 six paks had a pin with a cotter key holding the inside washers in place, not a threaded bolt with a nylon lock nut like yours
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Thanks for everyone's replies and I'm happy to see all the support we have on this forum.
In regards to the question of the use of a Bolt or a Pin I have a copied set of Chrysler's original 1970-71 Passenger Car Illustration section (Final Revision) dated December 1971 "Loose-Leaf Parts Catalog" part# 81-690-1002 which supersedes 81-690-0952 and in it shows the part #100 in the illustration on the Holley center carb model 2300 fr the Six Pack application as a bolt which is same as depicted in the numerous postings to this string.
A "pin" type bolt made have been superseded at some point later but all the factory documentation I have shows the correct NOS item as a half threaded bolt.
If I knew how to post a pic I'd share it.

The parts book will not lie to you and shows 58, 87, 42, 87, 84 and 80. Number 80 is a "nut". Same as my carb. The color picture is of a original 23k mile car and you can see the "nut" there too on the left hand side. (Not my color pic. From the a12 site http://a12mopar.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1205141324/0 )

O.K., something looks not right with your parts kit. Here is a pic of an unopened parts kit and an extra screw I picked up back around the late 1970's. You can see that the white bushing slides over the screw. Here is a pic of the installation. Notice the white bushing even though it is the newer style linkage. I believe it is a bushing/bearing for a smooth operation. A crush nut doesn't sound right with a nyloc nut?? Hope this helps, Jeff
