Does anyone know if you can use 4.360 bore w/ 440-1s with 2.25 valves, .760 lift cam?
I will test it with the block bare and light testing springs but wondered if it has already been checked and not worth me even checking..

Wade My block is 4.375, but I do have plenty of clearance with 2.25 intakes and 1.81 exhaust at 720 lift Jerry

I have ran those heads with the bigger valves like your asking about on several different motors, they cleared okay but I don't remember by how much You know the drill , when in doubt, always check it out I used modeling clay to check the side clearances in the valve pockets and look down the ports with a bore scope to check the cylinder wall to valve clearances, that is not real accurate as far as eye balling it goes IHTHs
