My brother is interested in cloning a 68 Hemi Dart. He has found a very nice 67 Dart, and we need to know if the taillamps and grille from a 68 will fit the 67 (with no modifications). Can anyone give us some input?
Thanks

I am in the midst of changing a 67 Dart from 69 tail lights (68's are the same basic shape) back to 67's. Thankfully the only modifications were four holes drilled in the sheetmetal pockets and long screws used to mount the 69 housings behind the metal with the bezels on the outside instead of cutting out the metal to fit the 69 housings! That is the best way to do it unless you buy used 68-69 pockets and weld them in. The grille and bezels will fit as long as you use 68 fenders or fiberglass fenders. The 67 fenders have differently spaced headlight areas welded onto the fenders. wave

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
