Just picked up a good set of W2 heads and a dual quad intake and carbs with LA bolt pattern. Can I just use a W2 gasket and match the intake runners and bolt pattern to the LA intake and have a complete W2 heads and intake?

As you seen if you put the gasket on.. the bolt
holes have to move and a fair amount of porting
to get the ports aligned .. I did that but the
other way around while I waited for a W2 head

That would sacrificing a lot of port....

I got my hand on a dual quad intake for my W2 style Indy heads this spring....
They are pretty rare I wil tell you, better shop around instead and wait for the right piece....

BTW.....I paid 600 for it.........

It's a pain in the ass to do but probably quicker than waiting for the right intake to come along.
