69 b body, any difference between the two transmission arms,can you use 2 speed on a 3 speed motor or vice versa? thanks

As far as I know, the arms are interchangeable. I've converted A-bodies from a 2 speed to 3 speed and kept the same arm

They are physically different. I imagine there's a reason for that.

That is correct for E-bodies. However 68-70 B-bodies use 2857922 for the connecting arm and 2857919 for the drive arm for both 2sp and 3sp. The crank arms, from motor to drive arm 2631792 2sp,
67-68 2580934 3sp and 69-70 2822273 3sp are not interchangeable. Also the bushings are different.
