My 71 RR has the round horn cap and I am trying to remove it so I can take the steering wheel off. I tried pushing down on it a rotating it counterclockwise and it wouldn't come off. Tried researching for the answer and also came up with nothing. Hoping someone can tell me how to get it off, thx.

Adding pic of the horn

they come straight up and off. No twisting or screws. stick a thin paint stirring stick under and pry it if you have to. Don't know how fragile that old rubber cap is at this point.

Thx guys the cap came right off. I would never have guessed that it was just pressed on.

Now I need the center RR emblem. It is 1" in diameter, anyone know where I can get one?
