Two to three months before the build of the car is common. Sometimes less. My a12 bee was cast on 2-22-69 and assembled on 3-26 heads are mid sept of 68. Superbird block was cast on 11-5 and assembled on 11-16. Heads cast 9-26 and 10-2 of 69
