They are not aluminum, they are pot metal. That is why the pit like they do...from what I can tell

Krylon chrome for the inside. Krylon dull aluminum for the outside is also very nice.

I definitely do not want to paint the outside. I want to restore them to like new condition for an OE level car. Then you'll need to find super nice originals
