I am not aware of a difference for the A-Body 340 valve covers. all 70 340 4 bbl valve covers were the same. The T/A and AAR ones had a very slight wire loom stand position and slight height difference but that was it. And they used both on the AAR's and T/A's.

What Morty said plus......The stand location was simply a variable, not just an TA/AAR thing, I've seen both locations on both Non TA/AAR cars, as well as run of the mill 340 cars.

Here's a picture of my original 1970 340 valve covers after medial blasting. These were on a Duster 340.

These all came off of original 340 4 barrel engines. The stripped pair shows two drivers sides with the two different possible plug wire upright locations.

Maybe a dumb question, but, are 70 318 covers the same? Would think they would be, but may be a reason theyre not?
