roadrunner7070 OP master R Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,640 Port Reading, NJ	Hey guys. The starter on the 70-383 roadrunner has started acting up. When I turn the ignition on to start it sounds like the starter is slipping and grinding. Am I due for a starter replacement? If so what is the recommendation for a replacement. Thanks.

killermopar pro stock Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 1,308 Spencer NY	You might want to pull it and check the starter gear and also check your ring gear. Grinding is a good indicator of bad tooth engagement.

Thanks. although you can still get the old style boat anchors at NAPA and such this is what i used and really like it - http://www.dbelectrical.com/c-9141-mopar.aspx
