Anyone know of a good source to get flexible brake line that i can route from my master cylinder to the distribution block? I would like to run flexible as I plan on a hemi install, would be nice to just flop the master out of the way. (A body)

Front brake hoses. They would need short lines and aprpriate adapters of course

Thanks Rick. You ever done it before? Do you remember what model car you used the shorter lines from if you did?

i think most NAPA store will make lines for you. as stated by HemiRick, the proper ends might be a slight challenge.

This is the only photo I have handy that shows the flex lines that I used on my Dart build. They really made pulling the valve covers easier and I didn't notice any impact on the brakes.

Those are the first ones I tried and the lengths were not what I had in mind for neatness. I changed them out for some whose lengths were more symmetrical and gave a neater look.

I had my local speed shop order them for me and I thought that they were stainless steel braided brake lines from one of the larger hose and fitting manufacturer like Earl's or Wilwood.

If you don't find what you want, let me know and I can dig out the invoice for the manufacturer.

Master, again and still

I haven't looked - but you might check Speedway Motors. They have a bunch of parts for "hot rod" type applications.

I got mine through Summit. I used adapters (i.e. Fragola, Wilwood) coming out of the MC.

Inline tube made me a set of custom flex lines a few years ago. They worked out fine. I'm pretty sure they can put on just about any end you need.

Sorry I figured anyone putting a Hemi in an A body would have a tubing flaring tool and know how to use it.....make your own lines.

Take care,
Rick
