Scanning all my collected 1966-67 Charger fender tag images and I found a few outliers. Anyone know what these mean?
1966 tag with code t0
1966 tags (3) with code t6
1966 tag with code T7
1967 tag with code t0
I have attached some images.

could I add one to the list?
My 67 Charger has "M2" on the second line. Any details on what this means would be great. Thank you!

can you post or email a pic/scan of the broadcast sheet? I found a Belvedere II wagon with M/1 & it appears to be "power tailgate window" - maybe? ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) passenger side only HEADREST?

I could send you a copy of it... Is there any reason why I would not want it posted here for others to see? I could do that too.

there appears to be nothing additional on your broadcast sheet that would trigger another "2" sales code with the need to be stamped/indicated on a fender tag I did notice that most (if not all) Barracudas & Chargers (that I have fender tag pics of) after mid-January 1967 have the M/2 stamping on their fender tags ![work work](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/work.gif) I wonder if it is in reference to all Barracudas/Chargers being assembled on " ASSEMBLY LINE #2" at Hamtramck, a precursor to EN2 that showed up late in the 1969 model year?? the less than 80,000 total '67 Barracudas & Chargers would not be enough volume to keep "ASSEMBLY LINE #2" occupied full time so there has to be Darts built on #2 also ![scope scope](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/scope.gif) but I have NOT seen a '67 Hamtramck Dart fender tag with M/2??

Dan,
I've seen the same thing on the M2 code. They show up after sometime in January or Feb 1967. I have a Govier decode page that shows its an assembly line code "DESGINATED LINE 2 BUILD".
As for an IBM card for any of the tags I presented, I looked and actually I do have a card for the first tag surprisingly. 1966 XP29 61035309
Sales codes are as follows:
354 - Charger Group 404 - 3.23 408 - Sure Grip 451 - Power brakes 458 - Power windows 483 - Bumper guards 484 - Clock 521 - Tinted Glass (All) 548 - Padded Visors 557 - Retractible Seat Belts front and rear 579 - Undercoat & Underhood pad 61W - White roof stripes 689 - Special headers & tag info (refers to window sticker header)
696 *** I believe this is it for the Fender Tag t6 code. Now the question is, what is this code. A 1966 broadcast sheet shows 696 as "Hot Car", whatever that is. I've also seen 696 coded as "Fast Manual Steering" and "New Car Service with 5 Gallons of Gas". Which is it?
703 - Corporate lease program - executive
******************************
As for a 1966 with the T7 code, I recently saw a '66 Hemi Coronet with a T7 fender tag code and it had the console mounted tachometer. I wonder if a 1966 Charger purchaser could have specified that and got two tachometers? No idea why since the one in the dash is obviously more visible.

Thank you, Dan, Jon for the M2 details. I was told Line 2 also about 10 years ago but just didn't think that was correct. I guess even now I wonder why if these were built on line 2 usually, why would they specify that this car "Must be on line 2"?

w/6 = CANADA (that's the same as '68)
I wonder if some of those questionable IBM lines in the late 60s are similar to 60 & 61?
60_ the actual translation is 30_ = vinyl top 61_ the actual translation is 31_ = accent stripes I think they did that because lines 30 and 31 were taken up by the PAINT codes. Line 39 is the transmission line, so I don't think it would convert over from line 69...interesting thought though. Need to figure out what a "Hot Car" is.

I worked with Caterpillar for 18 years and they used the word HOT. For us it meant that this order was priority and a dealer was waiting for it. Many times it shipped directly from plant to customer without waiting for any other items or parts. Think like "Hot shot" shipping providers....
