Stock 6.1 are probably the best but Johnson Hylift makes some that look good. People have turned 8000 with the right springs.

I called them last month and the guy I talked to said they were still working on a performance lifter?

Do you have a part number?

Crower makes a lifter, but it has a .650" wheel (OE Drag Pak is .700") and not interested in going backwards. Looking at possibly putting in a LS lifter with a .750" wheel from Morel.

a stock ls lifter is too short wont stay in the retainer if remembering correct its like .400 shorter than a stock hemi lifter
but if the morel lifters are tall than you should be ok

That must be where Crower is sourcing theirs from, they look identical.

Johnsons lifters.....not johnsons hylift.....but johnsons, made mine. Mine are a prototype tie bar lifter that require a little work to clear the tie bar but are much much better than stock. Real side oiling holes and slow bleed design. Stock sized wheel. According to them, they will be releasing them in the near future. Might be worth a call to them to see when they will be available.
