If you mean fuel injection vs carb'd.......I would go carburated all the way unless running turbos or a centrifugal supercharger. The stock intake manifold works very well with boost. Yes, I would def keep the cubes smaller. Mainly so I could keep the piston compression height
As tall as possible. At minimum something in the 1.22 compression height. That is the stock compression height of the 6.4 motor.. My other car i run a stock hellcat shortblock in and it is 378". I run twin Borg Warner 66mm turbos with it. With boost, the main thing you want is for it to live, so cubes don't become nearly important like a naturally aspirated motor.

Have you (462hemi) ever flowed any Gen III intakes? So on a NA application you'd stick with a carb over fuel induction? How does the Ritter intake compare to a 6.1 or 6.4 in an injected application?

Let me put this on the table:

As much compression as pump gas (93) will allow

Large, radical cam for the old sound

Hellcat power without the blower.

Help me spec this out! Will the block and crank live at 700hp?

I guess your idea of "Max Effort" and my idea of max effort are way different....I think Pro-stock, and you mention pump gas?

I call your goal more of a pro street build...My two cents, dollar for dollar, if that is your goal, the G2 Hemi still wins...+800hp on pump gas and still drive it to work.

Call it Mid Effort then lol. I would love a gen II engine, anyone want to trade short blocks? Got a new 6.4 from oil pan to deck

Yes I would stick with a carb for a naturally aspirated motor. Yes, as a matter of fact, my old 6.1 intake manifold that was on the old motor was extrude honed and then finish porter by Craig thitek of thitek heads. He said it was the highest flowing 6.1 intake manifold he ever did. It flowed 360cfm. I have not personally flowed the Ritter manifold, but know others that have and they are reportedly flowing 380cfm out of the box. Those things really move air. Stock 6.1 intakes flow 310ish out of the box
