Have heard of mod to differential bearing in dana application.
For race only they remove every other roller from the cage?
I know there was a term that was used to describe this, having brain fade.

I wouldn't recommend that.

Are you thinking of the "slick shift" modification for manual transmissions?

it is in fact a mod that has been employed.
Hensley if i recall used to do it amongst others, just cant recall exactly what it entailed.
I was thinking it was called something like pro shifting but for the bearing as it was a removal of every other roller like was done with the transmission cogs.

not for long term, like a pint of diff lube, anything to set the record.
cost $50 to have them done.

Maybe B1Frank would know.

If I find out I will post.
