I understand some disappointment, but gosh in my opinion everyone should be thankful that FCA is organizing something like this. How many Mopar (OK, Dodge) focused events are there? At the very least it keeps interest in the brand and may result in parts being around for our old heaps a little longer. Besides just the fun factor for most, that is a pretty nice purse for at least 4 Mopar supporters!

Full disclosure: I drive a Plymouth and it's too far for me to attend.

Pretty simple really... Dodge sponsored, Dodge
rules and Ply doesnt exist anymore.. I could
put Dodge on my car with Shadow and no one would
know.. the Sundance and Shadow were identical

Actually they would know or at least according to the rules. You must provide proof of insurance and registration.

Yeah.. but I'm not driving that far with a slow car...
I would expect 8s to be the norm... unless when the rules
come out and said street cars only...but even then I
would be slow... so far... no restrictions except it has
to be a Dodge.... also will spray be allowed

The whole title and insurance thing kills me. Have you not watched street outlaws, or drag week. Everything can be street legal.. lmao

If they want a street outlaw type dodge let me know.

Can I make my duster a demon?? Pretty confident with my car and all of the street racing experience I have a good shot at this and I promise I'm hungry for some money to make life easier. Freiburger can I do this?? Real deal street car I have grocery shopped in!

So can a Street Outlaws type "street car" compete? Since I am from Kansas, not far from the speedway might be fun smile

I've posted this on a mopar group I made for Missouri yesterday. My cousin and I might go to this and follow up with a mopar car show the following day in Columbia Missouri. Just took my car for its maiden voyage today. 470 is stout, but all it takes is a couple of hellcats to show up and ruin it for everyone. But I'm hoping with that high of a payout, that's some quick old mopar muscle will clean house.

Long pants and closed toed shoes required. No fire jacket? No shirt?
Functioning seat belt required. No race belts?

The race is only about 500 FEET long, that's less than an 1/8mile...
On an un prepped pit road...
I really doubt with it being dodge only, that many RACE cars will attend.
This will be run for a guy with a nice street cruiser. For a guy with a high hp car, probably not so much, no traction.
If I had a Dodge, I'd give it a shot.
