Chassis black or satin black.

I use black engine enamel as it seems to hold up well. Very hard to get a k-member clean, though. I've used Easy Off oven cleaner and a good hard bristle brush. I've also used my hot tank, which gives the best results.

I hazed over mine with a rosebud on a torch and got rid of a lot of crap that way...
a wire brush on a grinder and some detail work will get the rest.
I only use the Duplicolor 1634 Low Gloss Black on parts like that.
It covers great and is hard enough not to leave light finger print scratches and holds up very well.
It's dull enough it doesn't show every minor flaw in the metal and the best part is it already has fish eye preventer mixed in so I never get fisheye's... boogie
Here's a pic of the paint on the K member, valve covers and pulleys in the Dart.
Also the K member and pulleys on the Satellite...
Kinda like Red Hott "I put that chit on everything"... up
