welcome to the jungle. you will now spend all your free time here, so you might just as well sell your car !
just funnin' ! what ever route or kit you choose, PLEASE invest in a GOOD QUALITY crimp tool and make several practice crimps so you can terminate the ends in a solid way. i'm now involved in a friends 72 duster that almost ALL of the terminated ends are messed up. over the years, i have wired several cars from scratch one wire at a time, and a few more using different kits, plus a couple more using a combination[s]. but nothing irritates me more than to re-do someones bad workmanship when it comes to wiring. i'm not bashing you in any way, so please do not even think this. i would just hate to see you put in a lot of work just to see it all go up in smoke [literally] !! as well as being a fire hazard, a bad crimp can often times back feed into other circuits, especially common grounds, and make future problem diagnostics frustrating in the least. especially intermittent problems. have fun with your new project and keep us updated with its progress !
