The interior in my Road Runner is nice except for the driver seat. I hate the thoughts of changing the whole interior because of it. Has anyone tried to "age" a new bottom to try to match the rest of the interior? What did you use and how did you do wear patterns / break shiney-ness? My interior is M6S pewter & black.

1. Swap the bottom.

2. Go on a week long road trip.

3. Eat every meal at Taco Bell for that week.

Follow those three steps & your new seat bottom will be well aged in just seven days. twocents

Barry's suggestion might only take 2 days. lol

Since it's the drivers seat it gets used the most and it's going to wear much faster anyway. So just let it wear naturally. That's probably why it's wore out and the rest are okay.

The best way would let it run wild in Canada for awhile, I can pick it up at Carlisle and bring it back to you next year. I may need tire money though.

Swaping the seat bottom won't be the only "bottom" needing changed.

They're super worried that the color match will be horrible.
Have thought of tying it behind a 4 wheeler and dragging it through a mowed hay field.

Another place I've never eaten. Maybe a good thing.

No problem with that idea. Tire money you'll have to earn yourself though by working at Taco Bell or White Castle.

No doubt. I regret every time I eat there.
