Afco makes a coil over that bolts in your factory mounts. 3850m is the number for double adjustable shocks.

What needs to be done to the lower control arm? Guys have been running coil overs on factory lowers for years. Nothing needs done to lower. These shocks bolt on stock car. I had them on my dart when it had a fully stock front end with torsion bars.

I talking about the space in the upper that the shock slides through. I'd hate to have to go tubular I don't think it will fit with the coil over spring installed on a stock upper a arm. I ran these with out the spring on my stock front end. I think it would requir some trimming to make them work. Standing them up straighter would only make that situation worse. I would just get some tublar uppers as they help with your alignment.
