This neon came in with a bad timing belt and bent valve so we sent the head out and had it gone through. We put it together and came up with this crank sensor code.We checked all the wiring and installed a new crank and cam sensors with new ends.Found the same problem ordered a reman ecm and found the same problem we removed the oil pan and checked the teeth and they seemed good.ran new wires from the ecm to the sensors and it still sets a 339 code and a 315 code.Installed a new relutor wheel on the cam and still the same problem if any one can help that would be great thanks Matt.

So, who's paying for all the unneeded parts and labor?

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Was the cam/crank sensor sync relearned in the PCM? This should preformed anytime the engine timing has been altered or the timing belt has been removed. Sometimes will set erroneous DTCs is not reset.

I have found this to be the problem. The aftermarket sensors are junk.

Had an aftermarket cam position sensor in the '04 Neon, tossed it and put a Mopar one in, check engine light disappeared.

Alaso make sure the magnet is still on the back of the cam for the cam sensor as I have seen this missing before. Most Neons will run without the cam sensor but some are hard to start. The PCM will just try different firing orders while cranking until it gets it right and then once started it dont need to look at the cam sensor anymore once it knows the firing order as it will know what coil and injectors to fire.
