Hello People!
I'm installing an electronic ignition kit on my 68 RR. I purchased a bracket from Rocket Restos to mount the ECU on the rear valley pan rail. I'm looking at it now, and it seems it will get REALLY HOT in that location.

Where did you mount or hide yours? Thanks!

in this case, size DOES matter. is this a normal mopar ECU? then most mount them on the firewall. a MSD or similar larger ECU can be mounted under the battery tray(site favorite place) or on the inner top fender (where i have mine)and the list goes on.

I think you will be OK there with the supplied bracket. there is some space for circulation back there. As said people have hid it under the battery tray, just use a standout bracket of some sort so air can flow under it

Thanks guys, I'm using the Orange Mopar ECU.
As far as the ECU on the bracket mounted to the rear pan rail, I'd like to hear from anyone who has used this method. It literally sits right on top of the engine....I'm gonna give it a shot.

I would highly suggest a spare (not orange) in the glove box (MP chrome or parts house replacement ECU)
