If the show is supposed to be racing on the street where nobody is around how come the ambulances were right there when they crashed. ( Thankfully they were there ). Are you saying you have never noticed the load of portable trailer lights that shine on everything or the ambulance sitting in the background before now?

Read the disclaimer at the beginning of every show. It basically says that everything shown on the show is legal and under proper safety precautions. Basically, they shut down an area for a TV show production.

Do you think a company like Discovery Channel would pay for and operate a show like that without dotting all the Is and crossing all the Ts to protect thier employeees and all the other folks involved in that show I had been involved in small town street racing a long time ago in southern ,CA, no floodlights lights, NO CAMERAS and no permissions needed or wanted back then Race and run to make sure you weren't there if and when the law showed up

Anybody else notice that it appeared that Tina was on the brakes before she crossed the finish line when she raced boosted? She was indeed.

I saw her post on Facebook (I think) that she was not on the brakes even though the brake lights were on. She said the brake light switch is very sensitive. I believe her, others may not. Bill

The last taping I was at was in Tulsa. That appeared to be a city owned road, as it was a divided 4 lane in an industrial area. They totally blocked the road for a couple miles and detoured the local traffic around it
It looks like there will not be anymore taping in Tulsa. The City Council denied the last request for a permit. This was requested by the Tulsa Police Department who feels the show sends a bad message and is responsible for an increase in street racing. This was for a session that was quite a ways out but I don't remember the date. Bill

And all the crimes on A&E's First 48

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston
