Well, after trying different shift points, shock settings, squirters and hi-speed bleeds I ran my best ever 1.362 60ft and a 6.223 1/8th mile @ 109.07. Seems my car likes 33-34 degs. timing, .035 squirters, no air cleaner and #5 shock settings on my 5-way ranchos leaving at 3000rpms and shifting bet 6500-6700 rpms. I tried 3500 and it spun so I went back to 3000rpms 2 -passes in a row and ran back-to-back 6.22`s @ 109.07 and 109.30 so I`m pleased and hoping for a solid 9-sec. pass soon when I hit a 1/4 mile track. Actually tj, I tow it to the track but, have driven it 100 miles at a time here in the hot high desert. Thankxx all for your kind comments and you`ve helped me get there cos I`m to stupid to do this on my own. I ran my 10.09 in the summer of 05 w/an M-1 dommy flange w/a 1 spacer but as I`ve said all along; it`s a 9sec. car w/a 10-sec. driver. Me and my friends want to head to Fomoso soon in a motor home, click off a 9 whatever and party, party, party. Thankxx again........

Nice Thumper, that thing really hauls the mail. If you don't get your 9 I would be astonished, and then I'd rec'd installing a small block

Thankxx guys.....I hope it runs a 9.8 something and no small blocks for me. I can barely make a big-block run so imagine how slow I`d be with a little motor.
