My A-12 RR has an extra space between the RM. I've looked at many VIN tags, like allot of us have, and its somewhat comical to see it.
A member here has a 70 Bee that was delivered with a black C-stripe on one side, and a white on the other. Go figure, must of been a monday or friday. LOL I saw that still in 1999 at the Dodge Dealer. A Dodge CTD SLT with a leather door panel on one side and a cloth one on the other side. 20 years later same quality

not to get off the subject of the original OP, but I have mention this story. Apx. late 1990's, my brother was a parts manager at a GMC dealership for several years. A customer had a suburban and complained about a ticking noise in the cabin of the car. Service techs couldn't find anything, and later customer was in again, same issue. Finally, the tech's decided to pull the panels out in the back... they found a piece of welding wire with a nut tied to it purposely wired up inside the inner panels in the back. Acting like a pendulum, it would only knock on rough terrain or corners.
I worked at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer once (in parts) and remember hearing from a mechanic when a just sold (new) Town & County minivan had come in with an odd noise and it had a nut tied to a string inside a rear body cavity!

My 69 GTS had a GT SPORT stripe on one side and a DART SWINGER stripe on the other. When I dissassembled the car for resto there was a PABST can inside the fender behind the splash shield, always had a rattle in that fender. Also when I took the 383 apart there was a cigarette butt in the oil pan, could have been an oil change monkey playing a trick, or not... Saw a V-Code 71 Charger with no V in the VIN!
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Its a Lynch Road built car, a Charger to be specific. The sequence number in the VIN matches, its the vehicle order number that is one digit off. Is it more common to see it happen a one specific plant over another? Someone knowledgeable would need to look at your broadcast sheet AND your fender tag to make a determination if they are factory originals .

I'm pretty sure the tag and build sheet are original. I have owned the car since late 2001 and the previous owner had it for a few years before that. Its a common, dime-a-dozen green on green 318 Charger. I cant imagine anyone would go through the trouble of reproducing either the tag or sheet for such a common car. If it's a common, dime a dozen car why the concern then ? It's a common, dime a dozen mistake ...
