Seems to me that Dodge wants a Hellcat to be the winner.

"Yes, it's Dodge only. And cars only, no trucks. "

I guess my Dodge powered vehicle for the Dodge Powered Race isn't allowed... I agree with what someone said above, it sounds like they want a Hellcat to win.

Would love to see you show up with a real car and put the new junk they seem to be so proud of in the losers bracket. They really should have just clarified it as only really wanting new challengers and new chargers to be recognized.......and aside from the drag pack cars I would rather watch paint dry.

I really doubt with it being dodge only, that many RACE cars will attend.
This will be run for a guy with a nice street cruiser. For a guy with a high hp car, probably not so much, no traction.
If I had a Dodge, I'd give it a shot.

I didnt see anywhere where it was 500' long.. but
if it was like Pontiac Mi that was a short run also..
the rules here are about the same as Pontiac

I'll wait for the Pontiac event.. I heard this
year they were closing a part of Woodward(up on
the north end somewhere) for street racing... not
sure if this will be for the Road kill or something
else.. and I find it hard to believe they will close
off a public road... but it is the Woodward Cruise

They are, and yes, it's the RoadKill event. Supposed to happen at Woodward and South Blvd, next to the M1 Concourse facility.

Definitely this is a Hellcat event. They'll have a few ringers as drivers too.. count on it.

I need to swap out the 0.96" T-Bars and sway bar for some 318 T-Bars, and put the wide band O2 on the car before I go. I still doubt it will help traction for this event. Only traction device on the car is a pinion snubber, but the event sounds like fun.
Be interesting to see how the car does at > 5,000 feet less altitude?

Edit - I did see it is only 500' that seems to be why safety requirements are pretty minimal.
I am a bit confused on the "No trailered cars, must be driven in" rule. Not sure if they mean trailers need to be parked outside the event and the cars driven in (from where to where?)
Not a big deal, just curious if there is a place to park a trailer near the event?
