I have a 68' Charger and I have a wheel stud that is spinning in the drum when I try to remove the lug nut. How can I remove the lug nut to remove the tire? Need Help.

Thanks.

I had one do that, I used an impact wrench and push it to the side as much as I could enough to get it moving and came right off... it is a pain!

Several years ago I bought a car which had locking lugs. Must have been from the factory as I recall the key was suppose to have been attached to a cable on the lug wrench but was missing. The guy at the tire store simply put a 4-way on the lug and then jumped on the wrench breaking off the entire stud. You might have to give this a try. Good Luck!

I don't know what wheels you're running, but if it's on the front and you can get to the center and remove the nut, just pull the whole wheel and drum off together so you can get behind the stud and either weld it to the drum or cut it off.
