If you have the original switch then get the 71 up switch drill out the 4 rivets that hold the flasher knob and swap them use 4 small screws and nuts to reinstall

Advice from elsewhere (can't remember where though) but I used a Ford cam from the "Help" autoparts lineup.
It works and will get you by if you are in a rush.
