I need my 340 Duster grill repainted . All the repairs have been made. Plastic is perfect. Who will repaint it back to the OEM look? I guess G car no longer does grills, soooooo? Thank you Mike

Hi Mike, I'll be the first one to tell you that painting those grilles is the hardest part of the restoration, it takes a ton of masking and prep to do right. Also, if you have a perfect grille, is it in bare plastic, primer, or old paint? Makes a big difference. If it's painted you have to remove it all, if it's primer it has to be the right primer/sealer, and if it's either it will still likely need wet sanding and further primer coats to get the surfaces smooth before paint, EVERY TINY flaw shows through the silver paint they recieve, getting one absalutely flawless is pretty much impossible but besting the quality Mopar offered is not to tough. For a start most "paint only" jobs I've done cost the owners $500-$700.00 which is just labor hours added up, and I usually eat some extra time just because I hate charging so much.

Thanks for the info Scott. I've had the grill media blasted. Surface is real smooth. I put a coat of silver (turned out real nice) on but the black I botched. What can be done? I'm willing to have it pro done,
