what is the trick to installing the door glass. when I bought my car years ago, the glass was already removed. trying to install the door glasses now and can't get them in. it's almost like they are too big for the opening but I know they are the original. Any tips

Most of the older cars you have to remove the window tracks, and the window drops in through the window slot at 90 degrees, then turns to the correct direction. Then you attach to the lift mechanism, and install the tracks. It is a pita, and pretty rough on big hands.

Not all are done that way, but a high percentage are. Gene

my tracks are welded in. I think I figured it out tonight. I put the glass in side the tracks down in the door, then I worked the new run channel down around the glass. it took some doing but I got it in.
