On a relatively stock (Mr. Six Pack Cam/mild Port-Polish, Fac Exh Manifolds) what is recommended for the Mechanical and Vacuum advances at least to get started?

Hi Stewpar,

I've copied the distributor advance information from the 70 Service Manual below. If you're looking for a "stock starting point", I would use this as a general guide.

You need to figure out what the engine wants for initial then go from there, because the stock distributor has a lot of mechanical advance built in.

I would call Bob and ask him his recommendations and go from there , every situation I am pretty sure is unique when it comes to a Mr. 6pk cam ...
