I have a 1250 Dominator and it has .130" needle & seats I believe...

I think I killed both when the regulator locked up and it hit them pretty hard. I have always had better luck getting .110 & ,120 seats locally and they tend to survive pressure surges better.

What can the smaller seats support horsepower wise?

I think a .110 good for 650 HP or so.

You talking GPH? I think the .110's flow 30 gph x 2 thats 60. Not enough I guess?

No, I`m talking about bigger=lower fuel pressures and less aeration in the bowls which means more solid fuel flow and tunes...........I see .110`s in dommys and have to wonder when these builders are going to see the light...............

What Dom said..Most run WAY to much fuel pressure anyway. Get a good pump and the right pieces and 5-5.5 is PLENTY

Ahhh gotcha. .130's & 5.5psi. To have it 'pour' into the carb rather than 'sprayed' in with .110 & 7.5psi. Learn something new today, thanks.

Pretty much and look inside a standard Holley bowl at the "shelf" that the fuel hits and has to overcome then look at a QF entrance and see the smooth funnel which is WAY better. There`s more than meets the eye here and plenty more for ALL of us to learn............

That's cause the QF bowls are made by Braswell smile

The Proform and Quick Fuel bowls are the same, they were a joint venture between Quick Fuel and Dave Braswell. It's my understanding Quick Fuel assembles the carbs sold by Proform.

As far as N&S I use .128's for my gas 4150's, .140's for Dominators and anything E85. Methanol Doms get .164.

cool, good to know. I thought they looked very similar when I purchased them.

I have a good fuel pump...That is why both my .130 seats are shot...Fuel goes bad, makes the regulator stick closed, pump can't return fuel to the tank...Pump is capable of 70psi if used with efi......It was set at 6lbs.
