Do all the 72 Demons have the hard head liner?

I have the cloth/vinyl headliner with bows. (5 if I remember correctly). Even the cars with the cardboard headliners have provisions for the bows so it is not a hard swap other than actually putting it in and not getting any wrinkles. That is a tough job.

1972 Demons all have cardboard headliners. They reproduce them finally. If you want you can put a cloth headliner in a 72 but you do need the bows. There are 6 of them.

Hope this helps. You can also get a cardboard one from a Dart Sport. They are the same.

Not ALL 72's had the cardboard headliner. I wanted a cloth liner for my 72 so I searched the junkyard until I found a 72 that had cloth and grabbed the bows.

They are available in plastic, from Dante's I believe. Dont know if they are repro'd in paperboard/cardboard.

I took the cardboard headliner from my 70 Duster and covered it with black headliner material. Looks good to me, and I didn't care for the look of the cardbaord liner, anyway.

My 72 Demon340 that was built the second week in Aug of 71 had a cardboard type, not cloth.
