We use Mar-Hyde, too. It has texture, but doesn't grab wax and polish like flatter finishes. We usually put the last coat on rather wet and then while it is still wet, dust some late model Mopar Brilliant Black over it. That adds some multi colored metallics to it. You can add as much or as little metallic as you like. It may not be strictly OE correct, but it looks great. the following shot does not do it justice;
