Ok Guys I should know this, but never had a Duster with shift on the column before this 75 Duster.
75 Duster buckets no console(ordered that way),should it have the thumb lock button on the column to let the key move.
Trying to sell this 360 Duster and was asked about it, never paid attention until asked.
Thanks Dave

When auto shifter is column mount, it should not have the extra tab that I know of.

The extra lever is part of the florr shifter & steering column interlock system. It is meant to function so that the key cannot be turned to LOCK without the floor shifter in PARK. With the shifter on the steering column, the extra lever to release the key is not needed.

It CAN'T have the thumb lock button if its column shift. There are 3 collars to the assembly, where it's a floor shift or column shift. Floor shift 1st and middle collar has NO PRNDL display area, and the 3rd / bottom collar has the thumb button. Column shift 1st and middle collar has the PRNDL display area and the 3rd collar has the shifter handle attached to it.
If its factory floor shift it will have a console, console brackets welded to the floor, and a hole in the tunnel for the linkage rod.
