Minor changes, dropped air pressure to 18 psi, 90/10 shocks.
It did a 11.30 @ 119 mph!
I was more than thrilled!
1.60 60 ft. 7.18 1/8 95.6 mph 1/8 Congrats as thats very nice ! And you picked up some MPH. Ron I did do a quick swap to the Moroso underdrive crank pulley and re-lashed the valves last week.

after looking at the car you need to get the butt end down. You should also make sure you have enough front end travel. The tire size is not the problem, guys run 9's on 275 drag radials. The era of "big tire" cars is over. I'm guessing with that mph you should be in the 1.50ish 60 foot range. That's what I was shooting for. i agree and like D-50 said lowering blocks will work.....front tires also look tiny see if you can fit a 28"tall skinny on er.

I would be happy with how she's running. That's fast for a mild combo in a street car. Sounds like to put together a great combination. Are you running slicks or Drag radials?

Try just a pound or two less on the tires and get yourself a set Calvert 90/10s up front. Will do! I was eyeing the Calverts but got a smokin' deal on these CE 3 ways. Good job and keep at it cos 119 mph is closing in on the 10`s............

The timing is still @ 34° total where I set it initially. 91 pump gas from QT through the mufflers.

On my old 1963 Belevedere 415 HP M.W. stocker it would sixty foot the same leaving at a idle or at max foot stall RPM on bias ply nine inch slicks Don't be afraid to test Knowledge is power Have you look at different squirters sizes yet? If not test, test, and test some more Lots of room for gains I've only been to the track three times and the most experimentation has been with tire pressure. It seems to like 18 psi. I did add 2° of timing and a 1" phenolic carb spacer since the last track day. All I know is it runs like it has fuel injection. It starts instantly, doesn't bog and never loads up on the street. I fully planned on FiTech fuel injection after getting it together but the is no reason!

Yea 121 mph is enough for 11.0's with decent hook. When I was jetting my car and was still lean it ran 11.02 @ 121 with a 1.52 sixty. You just get that hook working decent and you will get them 10's. Nice going. Ron It was grudge midnight drags at KID so there were a lot of hard, street tired cars running. Because of this they weren't prepping the track like they normally would IMO.
