Getting ready to install the dash, pedals, steering column. Put in the dash/firewall insulation already. What order? Pedals, dash, column?

Anyone have any pictures?

I usually hang the dash assy first, then the column, and pedals last regardless A,B, or E body, windshield after these assys are in

I agree. Pedals have cross braces that are hard to get to once dash is in. I'll install master cylinder before dash too, as its easier to get to upper nuts. Then I'll install assembled dash (wiring and all) with a helper. Column last. In fact, you can probably keep the column out while doing most of interior. Makes a bit more room to work around.

Speedometer cable, clutch start switch, gas pedal and throttle cable. Put in the heaterbox and drivers side vent box also. Don't forget the defrost ducting.

Put in everything before the dash, column, A pillar trim and kick panels are the last 4 items.

Are you doing E body?

Pedals, Dash, Column...remove the studs for the column from the pedal assembly. Hang the dash on the outer bolts and push the frame up into place.

Before the dash...

heater box, insulation, vent box, brake system, clutch linkage, emergency brake...
