Let's see some pics of the various setups. Trying to get an idea of how to set mine up.

Thanks!

There is someone that builds them , you cant make them at the quality he does for the cost.

I second that, great quality and a great upgrade.

I can vouch for Rob (crackedback) as well. Very well put together relay kit he makes. It was one of the best upgrades I've made to my Dart.

Thanks folks, but I have already purchased the parts needed. I was just hoping that I could get some ideas about how to mount the harness, additional parts, etc.

Pick a spot and wire it up.

I've built kits to mount them all over the engine compartment. I like them in the compartment if you ever drive in wet weather unless you buy a weatherproof mount/box.

These cheap relays seem to work fine, and can be snaped together.

Right now I have 4 or 5 of these snapped together and mounted with one bolt. Wiring looks a bit ratty. I will replace the relays and individual fuses with a combination fuse/relay block (bussman or blue sea?) when I get around to making the car look good.

There are better designed relays to use, especially for headlights, than the cheap ones referenced.

Pick your parts, pay your money.

Get some SPDT Bosch/Tyco relays, they are good quality and should last a long time.

Thanks, but, it's not worth the effort to sell a couple of relay blocks, along with time to ship them out, unless someone was buying 20+.

Contact waytek, Del City or a local electrical house for them.

I will say, buy ONLY Bosch/Tyco relays. Failure rates are MUCH lower than the cheap units.

Not much help for those that have already bought there stuff. But for a little different flavor of options out there, I went with these weather tight ones. Very small, Mini or Micro (I forget) relay's, and an even smaller circuit breaker with one spare breaker inside of each bright or dim circuit box. The relay is about 1/2" square by ~1-1&1/8" tall. I've put 6 months on them with no failures yet.

Easily accessed, and mostly out of sight, but not entirely. I think they're mostly used by motorcycle guy's for their size and weather seal.

I've presently misplaced the prints & info on them that I would 've liked to have shown here.

I use the SPST relays. You get two output terminals so each bulb gets it's own direct power feed( twin terminals 87 normally open). No need to splice the lines. I used one for the low beam and two for the hi beams in my 4 lamp system. About $14 per relay IIRC. Terminal Supply has the connectors and terminals also. They have a $20 minimum order policy so get the order right before you finalize.

Same relays are under $7 each through Waytek.

Waytek Wire has a very good selection and good prices on most stuff, but has a $5 line minimum on most items.

Del City has a good selection and decent prices, and most items do not have a line item minimum.

Terminal Supply has a good selection, but are pricey. You also usually need to get a price quote from them, as I don't remember them listing prices online.

I buy about $800-1000 a year in wiring supplies, either for personal use or for a local shop. About 80% comes from Waytek, 15% from Del City, and the remaining from Term Supply if I forget to order from the other two and need that day (they are 30 min away).
