Vinyl top trim fastener kits are out there. Type in "vinyl top" and they should show up. https://www.hooverautoparts.com/search.phpApparently some cars have holes in the body for the vinyl top trim and other cars have studs welded to the body to hold the trim in place. If you are adding a vinyl top to a car that never had one you may have to figure out how the clips mount (hole vs studs).

If you are adding a vinyl top to a car that never had one you may have to figure out how the clips mount (hole vs studs). 72 and 73 have studs welded onto the body and holes on the two extreme ends. The attaching pieces are available. The stud mounted pieces are a PIA to install on the car without scratching the paint. Good luck Craig
