I bought a set off Legendary about 5 years ago and they were completely flat. When applied to the inside curve of the B pillar they wrinkled.
Maybe they should have been steamed first?

Does anyone know if anyone makes decent ones?

You may have to use steam or a heat gun, or combination of the two to get them to for correctly.

Bought mine from Legendary as well a while ago. Went to look at them and had wrinkles too. I just called them and they had me in their system when I bought mine. They sent me NEW ons even though it was a couple of years ago that I bought them at the Mopar Nats

The last time I bought sail panels nobody had the correct ones. If your panels have head liner material on them they are complete wrong. The sail panels should have a textured surface kind of like the package trey.

But they sure look a helluva lot better than OEM...

i recovered my originals in just a plain white wall paper from menards that had a very similar texture to the originals. made sure the originals were the right contour and not tweeked, then cleaned them and used upholstery glue to adhere the wall paper. after it dried, I died it to the original color. turned out better than i thought it would.

I'd rather have head liner material on the sail panels than plain cardboard. Thanks for the info just the same.

They weren't plain cardboard. They were textured. Actually they look better than the headliner material.

And no one makes them? Thats too bad.

The one's I've seen that I thought were original, weren't textured.

As of right now REM is the only people making them, that I know of and when I complained that they didn't come with headliner material the response I got was " well we sell at lot of them and no one has said anything but you ". Most people don't know how these cars were new so they just buy whats out there glad that they have something. The current trunk mats that are being made now aren't made of the right material either. I had REM make me a set of sail panels out of the same stuff they make their package treys out of. It's not right, but a lot better than headliner material.

Were they flat and if so, did you have to steam them to get them to curve without wrinkling?

And who is REM?

Thanks!

REM makes different kinds of stuff. Things like the firewall insolation pads and the trunk mats and so forth. Yes they were flat, but they took the curve fairly easy, I just screwed them in place with the proper screws. Like I said, I think REM is the only people making them right now. Sure would be nice to have a set of proper sail panels and a trunk mat made out of the correct material.
