just curious to what you guys use in your street/strip big blocks for rod and cam bearings. need to start getting some parts rounded up. thanks

If you want long life choose Clevites. If you're not that fussed about longevity go with Sealed Power or King. Whenever I've done a refresh on an engine with Clevites, they always look they can go back in. Can't say the same with King or SPs

Yep, still with Clevitte.... I get pissed with them at times, but still doing OK.


Better to be a "has been" than a "never was".

looks like the clevites are very popular. iv used them before and really no complaints there either.

I use the Federal Mogul race rod bearings, BB Chevy size, usually on my strokers motors, race or street builds thumbsI use to use the Cleveite 527P bearings before Michigan bought them a long time ago, the quality control went out the window so I switched shruggy

After 300 passes on Clevite H series. Except for a dirt scratch or two they all look like new.

cab, when you say race bearing are you reffering to an H or HP bearing?
