The discharge (bottom) side might look like the intake manifold, but the intake (top) side is a bad mis-match to the actual flow pattern leaving any helixed blower. A lot of the coolant isn't doing anything.

Does run a cool can (cold water) or engine coolant through it? I have a water cell for the intercooler.

I dont like it lower.Rons cooler supports 2,000 hp.The whipple core looks short where Rons is 4" thick proven cores.I do not have to change anything for me to use Rons cooler.
